Municipalities and civil defence

Flexotrap provides municipalities and civil preparedness actors with an environmentally safe and flexible tool to maintain shooting range capacity—without ground work, lead dispersion, or lengthy permit processes.
The system is developed to meet the Environmental Code, REACH (EU chemical safety regulation), LEH, and NATO capability requirements, facilitating both oversight and capability building in peace, crisis, and war. The modules function in both permanent and temporary facilities—without the need for fixed infrastructure.

Shooting can be conducted year-round with high operational reliability. Projectile waste is collected for recycling, and maintenance is easily handled by existing staff. Low operating costs are combined with high environmental performance.

The systems are type-approved by the Technical Council for Facilities (Swedish Firearms Safety Regulations (SäkB)) and are included in the Swedish Shooting Sports Federation’s facility guidance for municipalities and associations.

The systems enable shared use: police or security guards during the day—sport and hunting shooters in the evenings and weekends. With Flexotrap’s bullet trap system, municipalities and civil defence are equipped to quickly act in host nation support (HNS) by co-locating bullet trap systems and providing training environments for visiting units from NATO allies.
