CS Base is primarily developed for pistol shooting with 9 mm ammunition. The module is designed for environments and users in the community where a lower degree of use occurs. CS Base can be used both indoors and outdoors.

CS Base is optimized for slow and blunt ammunition such as 9 mm and .22 LR. The design is based on the same framework as other CS modules but completely lacks steel grids.
The projectile hits the module’s rear section and ultimately ends up in a container at the bottom of the module which is then emptied. At the front edge of the module hangs a rubber curtain whose function is to prevent ricochets, create a ventilation zone (indoors) and keep projectiles and liquids separated (outdoors).
The individual module can be used as, for example, a zeroing module, but the system is fully scalable, self-supporting and can be linked together to form a seamless bullet trap surface.
Thanks to the series-common framework, CS Base can be converted to CS Pro and CS Strike with an upgrade kit.

Impact energy is the amount of energy a projectile transfers upon impact – a key measure for durability and safety. The value is given in joules (J) and is primarily affected by the projectile's velocity.
Our systems are tested for a maximum impact velocity of 930 m/s.
