Press release

Flexotrap AB has been awarded a contract to deliver its environmentally adapted and modular shooting range systems to the Groupe d’Intervention de la Gendarmerie Nationale (GIGN), France’s national intervention and counter-terrorism unit. The agreement marks an important step in Flexotrap’s continued expansion across Europe’s defence and security sector. .

The systems delivered include multiple CORE-S modules designed to meet demanding operational requirements in dynamic and tactical training environments. They will support advanced marksmanship, scenario-based training and high-intensity exercises where mobility, safety and environmental compliance are critical.

The agreement reflects the growing need among European defence and law-enforcement users for modern, sustainable and high-performance training infrastructure. Flexotrap’s technology enables safe and efficient ammunition containment, supports material recycling and complies with current and upcoming EU environmental regulations, including standards related to lead management and material recovery.

“We are honoured to support GIGN with equipment that strengthens their operational training capability. This cooperation aligns with our long-term strategy in Europe and confirms the increasing trust in our technology among units that operate at the highest professional level,” says Elias Mibesjö, CEO of Flexotrap AB.

Flexotrap’s modular systems are developed and manufactured in Sweden and engineered to meet NATO training standards, providing a scalable and relocatable solution for military, police and security organisations seeking safe and environmentally responsible training infrastructure.

The agreement has been carried out in close cooperation with Flexotrap’s local partner in France, FGCI. Deliveries to GIGN are scheduled to begin during the initial part of 2026.
